Glass Aquarium Tank

Where can I find a one gallon glass rectangular aquarium and/or a heater that fits a one gallon tank?

I have a betta fish in a one gallon Acrylic Aquarium. We need a heater for the tank for the winter season, so I need to move the betta to a glass tank, since I don’t want to put a heater in an acrylic tank. I’m looking for a rectangular or cube-shaped one gallon glass tank (not fishbowl shaped) and a heater that fits a one gallon tank.

Thanks for your help.

I’d say upgrade to a 5 or 10 gallon and then buy the smallest heater you can find. You can usually get the ones that latch onto the side for 7 or 8 bucks at petstores. The smallest one would be more than enough for that even.

The weakest heater will be too strong for a 1 gallon tank.

You can get a used 10 gallon on craigslist for about 5 bucks if you look around or ask. 2.5 – 10 gallon glass tanks at stores cost about 10 dollars each.

Your betta would be happier, and you would not have to choose between cooking it and freezing it!

Hope this helps!
