Is there anything I could do with a ten gallon saltwater aquarium?
I upgraded from a 10 Gallon Aquarium to a 30 gallon aquarium recently. I was considering making the 10 gallon into a saltwater aquarium (I have always had freshwater).
Honestly, I don’t know anything about saltwater aquariums.
Is it even worth setting up such a small saltwater aquarium? How much added cost is there? How often do you have to add salt? How does cleaning differ from a freshwater aquarium?

10 gallon is good for shrimp, or maybe a small clown fish.
If you just doing fish, not growing corals the only difference is adding salt. You only need the fancy lights, protein skimmers and UV’s if your doing corals.
You can do whats called a F.O.W.L.R. tank, that’s fish only with live rock. Just remember that you need to let the tank cycle again even if your filter is already cycled. The bacteria from fresh water to salt water are not the same.
You need to add salt only when you do water changes, slat doesn’t evaporate out of the water. They sell Gage’s at any pet store to measure salt content, you also need to use marine salt.
